On March 24, Scott Chafee brought a message that followed up the lesson from March 10, on Discipleship as a Lifestyle. This message looked at three biblical examples on how the rhythms of life were used to reach people trapped in doubt, darkness, and deception.

The Sacrificial Journey of Mother and Son - Luke 1:26-38, John 19:25-27

On March 17, join us for worship at 9:30 or 11:00. Don continues a new series “Moving Toward Resurrection Day.” This week he brings a message called, the Sacrificial Journey of Mother and Son, from Luke 1:26-38 and John 19:25-27. We are also having a special emphasis on our partnership with the Crisis Pregnancy Center. Remember that our Benevolence Offering for March is going to bless these moms and babies who need some love, care, and support. We are also promoting the annual walk for life.

From the Manger to the Cross - John 10:11, 14-15

On March 10, we have ONE worship service at 11:00. Don continues a new series “Moving Toward Resurrection Day.” This week he brings a message called, From the Manger to the Cross, from John 10:11, 14-15. Remember THIS WEEK’S schedule change due to Winter Shelter. Most everything is normal for nursery through Grade 12, but all adults are meeting in the sanctuary at 9:30 for a special lesson, then we will have one worship service at 11:00 (remember that our adult classrooms are used for our homeless guests this week).

On the Cross: Forsaken and Victorious - Psalm 22

On March 3, Don begins a new series “Moving Toward Resurrection Day.” This week he brings a message called, On the Cross — Forsaken and Victorious, from Psalm 22. We will also have the Lord’s Supper at the end of the service, with a Benevolence Offering to benefit the Crisis Pregnancy Center in Virginia Beach. FYI, we will have a special guest from the CPC with us on March 17. Remember next week’s schedule change due to Winter Shelter.
